Overhead Transmission Linesfrom Distribution (11kV) to the highest transmission voltage levels (765kV). The vast majority of experience gained from previous contracts, whilst in the employment of ABB, ranging from Project Manager to Linesmen.
To name a few contracts participated on were:
- RSA-Namibia Interconnector: 2000km: 400kV
- Aries – SA Border: 350km Quad Tern: 400kV
- Skorpion Keetmanshoop-Roshphina: 400kV
In OptiPower’s limited existence, we have completed numerous Transmission and Distribution projects. OptiPower is one of the few companies able to participate on Eskom’s Capital Expenditure programme.
We have an experienced live line maintenance team, readily available. Some of our recent work has afforded us the opportunity to tackle some of the most complex highway crossings.
Our experience ranges from working on the Infamous Gautrain project to the rocky outcrops of the Kwazulu-Natal midlands, which included complex helicopter work and a large amount of Rock blasting.
